Bitfinex, one of the largest decentralized crypto exchanges, has halted trading due to a platform outage.
- The exchange said on its website status page that it was “investigating issues with the platform” at 07:43 UTC Sept. 30.
- No further information is as yet available relating to the cause of the outage or how long it is expected to last. Bitfinex advised users to follow its Twitter feed and website status page for updates.
