BNB Chain Extends Tokenization Lead With 2M Holders

BNB Chain has quietly taken the lead in one of crypto’s fastest-growing markets.

The network has surpassed 2 million holders of tokenized real-world assets, per onchain data from RWA.xyz, becoming the first blockchain to reach that threshold; Robinhood Chain is the next largest network with nearly 1.6 million holders. BNB Chain now accounts for about 40% of all onchain RWA holders.

The number is significant because it measures distribution, not simply capital locked in a handful of large wallets. It suggests tokenized assets are reaching a broader base of crypto users as stocks, funds, and other traditional financial products move onto blockchain rails.

Still, wallet counts should not be treated as unique individuals. One investor can control multiple addresses.

Tokenized Stocks Are Driving Fresh Growth

The latest surge is being supported by tokenized equities.

The market capitalization of tokenized stocks on BNB Chain increased by $106.2 million over the past seven days, comfortably ahead of other major networks. X Layer followed with $63.4 million in growth, while Solana added $29.1 million.

Binance’s bStocks products accounted for nearly $97 million of the increase on BNB Chain, making them the clearest driver of the network’s recent expansion.

Across the wider crypto market, tokenized stocks have now surpassed $3 billion in market capitalization, highlighting how quickly equities are becoming a meaningful segment of the RWA sector.

BNB Chain Is Winning on Distribution

The distinction between market value and holder count matters. Other blockchains may attract large institutional allocations, but BNB Chain’s advantage is increasingly its ability to distribute tokenized assets across a large user base.

That can become powerful infrastructure in its own right.

More holders mean a larger potential audience for trading, lending, collateral, and other DeFi applications built around real-world assets. If tokenized stocks become usable across lending protocols and decentralized exchanges, then the networks with the deepest existing holder base may have an early advantage.

RWA Competition Is Moving Beyond Ethereum

The latest figures also show how the tokenization race is broadening beyond Ethereum.

BNB Chain, X Layer, and Solana are all capturing meaningful growth as issuers experiment with lower-cost networks and crypto-native distribution.

For BNB Chain, reaching 2 million RWA holders gives it a clear headline advantage.

The bigger question is whether those users remain active as tokenized assets expand from simple ownership into trading, collateral, and yield. For now, the signal is hard to dismiss: nearly two out of every five onchain RWA holders are already on BNB Chain.
