Bitcoin ETFs Log Third-Biggest 2026 Inflow
A surge in bitcoin’s price above $80,000 brought institutional money rushing back into U.S. crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Bitcoin funds attracted $730.87 million on Thursday, marking their largest daily inflow since Jan. 14 and the third-biggest single-session total of the year. Blackrock’s IBIT dominated the move with $453.96 million in fresh capital. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB followed with $137.74 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $74.45 million.
Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust drew $48.79 million, Bitwise’s BITB added $24.76 million, and GBTC took in $8.22 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT received another $7.71 million. Vaneck’s HODL lost $19.58 million, while Wisdomtree’s BTCW posted a $5.16 million outflow.
Trading value across bitcoin ETFs jumped to $4.77 billion. Net assets climbed back above $100 billion, reaching $103.34 billion, reinforcing the link between ETF demand and bitcoin price momentum.
Ether ETFs Snap Back With $141 million Inflow
Ether ETFs quickly recovered from Wednesday’s outflow, bringing in $141.39 million.
Blackrock’s ETHA led with $72.07 million, followed closely by Fidelity’s FETH at $65.11 million. Invesco’s QETH added $5.39 million, Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust drew $3.60 million, and Blackrock’s ETHB received $1.29 million.
Grayscale’s ETHE posted a $6.07 million outflow, with total ether ETF trading volume reaching $1.12 billion, while net assets closed at $15.92 billion. The rebound helped restore momentum across the broader crypto ETF market after a softer session the day before.
XRP and Solana Add to the Broad-Based Gains
XRP ETFs recorded $6.14 million in inflows. Franklin’s XRPZ and Bitwise’s XRP fund each attracted $3.19 million.
Trading value reached $71.61 million, while net assets rose to $1.55 billion. The steady inflows add another data point for investors watching the XRP price and institutional positioning around the asset.
Solana ETFs brought in $6.40 million. Grayscale’s GSOL received $4.38 million, while Bitwise’s BSOL added $2.02 million. Net assets finished at $1.46 billion.
Attention now shifts to Friday’s U.S. August jobs report. Markets expect roughly 56,000 new payrolls and an unemployment rate of 4.1%.
A softer labor reading could influence expectations for the Federal Reserve’s September meeting. For bitcoin and the wider crypto market, the next move may depend on whether incoming jobs and inflation data strengthen the case for lower interest rates.
