Editor Notes: “The popular Bitcoin wallet Mycelium has just announced it will soon integrate the privacy-centric cryptocurrency Dash. The implementation of the Dash token will allow Mycelium users to buy, sell and hold Dash within their wallet.”
Dash has been quite popular these days as Bitcoin.com just recently reported on a crypto teller machine adding Dash integration in Panama. Now Mycelium has added the Altcoin to its interface claiming Dash has a few features many people will enjoy. These attributes include anonymity, low fee, and instant transactions. Currently, Dash is the 8th most valued cryptocurrency in the world with a market capitalization of $56 million USD.
Dash’s VP of Business Development, Daniel Diaz, said in the announcement:
Mycelium is the bitcoin wallet veteran and one of the most widely used digital wallets. They are leaders in the space and as the industry evolves they have a vision of becoming a hub for crypto financial services. We are very excited to be partnering with Mycelium so that their fantastic user base can take advantage of Dash’s innovative features. Thousands of people are using Dash because we have a strong, stable alternative to bitcoin, perfectly suited to the mobile user.
Mycelium will integrate Dash this coming October, which will be accompanied by a new wallet redesign. The wallet company is implementing a “modular and simpler system” in order to incorporate more open source technology use cases. Additionally, Mycelium will be switching their proprietary BitLib library to the BitcoinJ repository as well.
Mycelium is a fan of Dash’s achievements as it has managed a self-governance system, a voting platform, and has over 4,000 full nodes within the network. Mycelium CEO, Alexander Kuzmin, explains:

The new wallet integration is just one of the new features deployed over the past two years, which include Swish, Gear, and the Mycelium Network card.
